... Hey Thank you for the replies. Just to sum up my back story. 45 years old, just to do a lot of extreme sports such as: Windsurfing i waves, running marathons, climbing, mountaineering and scuba diving. Have a fantastic job as a ingeneer with a lot of time at the desk and in the car. Had my first back incidence in 1994. Got by that and had only problems each 6 years or so.... (12 replies)
... e my pain...but finally they figured out the source of my pain, and resolved it. I've just had lumbar surgeries so don't know if it is comparable to a cervical fusion or not. My three surgeries were all posterior. I'm not sure what the benefit is of doing both PLIF and TLIF...you might ask that of your surgeon. ... (7 replies)

... hi spineys, finally...I have made the decision with my docs to have the L4/L5 lumbar fusion (scheduled for january 5th).
