... I am not sure why you would be having pain on the top of the thigh....for clarification, when you say "top," do you mean the front side or up near where the leg joins the pelvis? ... I seem to be in the same boat...had second surgery on l5/s1.I have nerve damage due to disc surrounded by scar tissue. Have you tried gabepentin or lyrical?
