... I had a myelogram for my back in Feb. of 2011. It wasn't too terrible. In fact, I just had them shoot my back up with a local anesthetic and not the stuff that sort of puts you in the twilight zone while it was done. ... So sorry that you have had to add this diagnosis to your confusion. Yes, this does happened to me.... My neurosurgeon said that the symptoms of compression could be coming from my thorax or cervical area...had to have the MRI's of those area also..even though symptoms are in the lumbar/leg/feet. The emg does not always show the damage...mine came up (5 replies)
... Just beware of the invasive type treatments like nerve blocks.mylograms or any other treatment that involves spinal puncture. These treatments can lead to Arachnoiditis. You don't want that. good luck Michael (14 replies)
... Sorry about your problem! I had a similar problem. Accident, mylogram, crushed disk, lamenectomy, failed, several more lamenectomyies, spinal stimulator, no relief, take out spinl stim, fusion L5-S1, Failed, fusion L4-L5-S1 with metal. Back is now solid but pain is still there. I left out the numerous injections and mylograms. Bottom line is I now have... (14 replies)
