... Try heat, that usually helps my spasms where I usually use ice for swelling. You could also ask your dr for a muscle relaxer. ... Hmm..one test I didn't see mentioned was an MRI or CT scan of your back? I know that upper back pain can cause chest pain and a lot of the symptoms that you're having. That would seem to be the best step in my opinion since everything else has come back normal thus far. A co-worker of mine had a fusion last year and he told me when they did his discogram they actually injected antibotics into him during the procedure just to be safe. ... I'm glad this got bumped!! I wonder what my dr goes by because I've been saying "3 or 4" to him and now when I see this chart I'm a 6 or 7 on a daily basis and spiking to 8 on bad days. I'm going to bring that up to him. All he ever gave me as a guideline was with 10 you would be in the ER. I had a bad appt with my chiro yesterday as well, he said he thought my pain... (25 replies)

... Sorry to hear about your neck, I would go to a dr or chiropractor. I hurt my neck a few months back and couldn't move it and my chiro "fixed" it in 2 visits.
