If you don't find someone that you like ask around and find another doctor who will help you. I know how debilitating pain can be. You can't sleep and the pain wears your down and it becomes a viscious cycle. ... (3 replies)
... Hi Showdee and Srvtone, I am 21 years old and I had radiofrequency lesioning done about 1 1/2 years ago. There are 2 steps to the procedure. I can't remember the name of the first step, it was some sort of a facet block i think. The second step is the Radiofrequency lesioning. Anyways, the way the first step works (or worked for me) is they use needles and put... (6 replies)

... Showdee - The imp;ortant thing for aqua-therapy is to remember that humans cannot breathe underwater. :) Aquatic therapy has been my friend for some time now. You'd be surprised how some simple moves in the water can really work you out well. The place I go to has an indoor lap pool, a therapy pool, and a whirlpool. It feels so good to be in the warm water of the... (7 replies)

... Hi Showdee, I have been doing Aqua therapy for two years to delay shoulder surgery, and knee replacement, I did the regular therapy for a year and didn't do half as well or like it. Find a good neuro and ask for a EMG/NCV,this will give you a good step in finding out if... (14 replies)
... You're right, showdee. It makes no difference which "side" they go into. It's a matter of filling the disc with liquid and seeing if it re-creates the pain on either side. Carol (3 replies)
