... Kathi,Sheila My first surgery was a dissectomy of the L4/5 and they did that but left a 1/4 inch bone spur present that could not be seen in the MRIS, Myelograms, or CTs. It was only found when they did the second surgery for Lateral Stenosis and decompression of the L4/5. Last summer my back just crashed at the L4/5 and L5/S1 levels.
