well, I called my lady back and told her about the color and she said there is nothing that can be done...that if this didn't pull out the brassiness nothng would and she could put some highlights in it to kind of hide it..Is this true? I thought that bleaching the hair out you could put an toner on to acheive the color you wanted.
I find it difficult to believe that if your natural color is just mdium ash blonde, that it can;t be lifted enough to get rid of the brassiness. I have medium ash blonde hair & have had it highlighted for many, many years - sometimes to a very, very light blonde (almost platinum) - and have never had brassiness. It sounds to me like your salon doesn't know how to do color very well. UNLESS - have you been doing any of the coloring yourself? Because often the over-the-counter products are not strong enough to lift the color past the brassy stage in ash blondes. If you had been doing it yourself, they may not be able to repair the color by going lighter - you might have to go darker until your natural color grows out. Your hair may be too porous now - they may not be able to process it any more without seriously damaging it.
