Hi Ladies!

Bobby, that was so sweet to say I was as smart as my kids - I wish! We are proud of them, that's for sure.

OK, let's see. Bobby, I kinda went overboard in ordering the Aromaleigh products. Initially, I ordered samples of the Pure Cover foundation (that's the one that provides the most coverage, the Pure Powder is more of a sheer coverage which wouldn't have worked good for me), all in the light (2) shades. I think the choices were light cool, light yellow, light linen, light warm, light neutral. At first I thought my shade was gonna be the light linen but something kept buggin me about it. Then I remember makeup artist Bobby Brown say that many, many people look their best in beige or warm tones. I thought that was a hugh generalization cause I always thought I was a "cool", not "warm" person. Wrong! As soon as I tried the light warm (2W), I was amazed. It gave me the best look of any makeup I've ever tried. All these years apparently I was using the wrong shade category! See, I told you I wasn't that smart. I guess maybe I'm actually a slowwwww learner. Hee! Hee! What I did was to try all the samples along my jaw line and then went outside in the daylight to see which one blended into my skin the best - it was the light warm. Yippee! Then I cleaned my face and put it all over. I loved the look! I don't think I've ever had a shade that matched so well. Origins came close but still not as good as this.

Sooo, I then ordered the full size Pure Cover foundation in the light warm (2W), sample jars (you can order baggie samples for $2.00 or small jar samples for $4.00) of the Pure Powder in the same 2W, full size of the makeup primer, full size of the Illuminating Finishing Powder, three sample shades of blush, 10 (yep you heard right!) sample eyeshadows, one kabuki brush and one flocked sponge. The flocked sponge is suppose to be excellent for applying the Pure Cover, but you can also use a brush too. Yep, yep, yep I certainly went overboard but most of the items are samples. Of course now I can't get anymore of Dr. Denese's products this time, though. Bad Girl :nono:

I really am excited about these products. I love the way the minerals feel on my skin. So smooth. Alot of ladies mix part Pure Cover with Pure Powder but I didn't want to go thru the hassle of mixing foundation (or buying two different shades) so I was overjoyed when just the Pure Cover worked for me! Bobby, I know you're like me in that you like full coverage. Using the Pure Cover I can layer it as much as I want to achieve the desired coverage. A little goes a long way. Some ladies use the Pure Powder as their foundation and then use the Pure Cover as a concealer. What is really great is they offer I think 31 shades of foundation! That's alot to choose from!

Aromaleigh has a skin care line too. Many ladies rave about it. The prices are pretty reasonable too (as much as I hate to say it, but they're less expensive than Dr. Denese's). Shame on me, I can't believe I said that! But I don't think I could ever use anyone else's products after seeing how miraculous Dr. Denese's line is. It's just that to buy the full size items without them being in a kit is way up there in price. We really need to tell her since we've givin her some business, to lower the costs for us - hee! hee!

OK Kayley, what happened at the pm appt dear. Now YOU'RE getting me worried. Can ya'll tell I'm a worry wart? Always have been. But I only worry about those I really care for, so there! That most definitely includes all you beautiful girlfriends.

Sunshine, since you didn't get the Night Recovery cream, I would contact QVC and let them know. Hopefully they would just send you one without any further hassles. They've done that for me before when I was missing an item. It's worth a shot anyway. I feel pretty confident that they would want to fulfill the order as it was requested. After all, a happy customer is a returning customer. Geez, I sound like a commercial. Ha!

Anyway, Bobby, try some samples of the AL. Maybe they will work as good for you as they have for me. I hope I gave you enough info and answered your questions, but I'm new at this stuff so I'm far from being an expert! I just don't want to lead anyone astray or in the wrong direction, so the samples would be a pretty safe way to go. Gotta go for now, but will talk with you dears later. Love, Linda :D
