This is strictly an individual decision. There ARE many from which to choose - and what works for me may not work for you. I've tried many different brands & I can give you the results that I got - but you may not get the same results. My skin tends to be oily & acne-prone. My dd also uses MMU & cannot use Cory because it makes her break out & aggravates her eczema.

Aromaleigh - they have 2 choices, Pure Powder, which is very sheer coverage, and Pure Cover, which is a heavier coverage. I use a 50/50 mix of the two. There are 32 color choices (I think) - they have some of the lightest colors I've ever seen. Finish is matte. You can read on the website & forum about how to make color choices. I've been dealing with them for a couple of years - good customer service; fast shipping (you get your order, whether it's samples, full sizes, or both) within 5-7 days. Shipping is via FedEx. Samples very reasonably priced & generous.

Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals - this gave me so-so coverage & left my face looking shiny. Finish is shimmery. Even with the Mineral Veil, I didn't like the way it looked. You can usually find samples on eBay.

Botany 101 - I find their foundation similar to the 50/50 mix of Aromaleigh. They don't have as many color choices, but some people find that makes it easier! LOL! Finish is matte. If you order from the Outpost, you pay more, but will get your order in about 7-10 days. If you order from Cat directly, you care charged right away, but you don't get your order for about 6 weeks. I believe the shipping charge is $6.50 - and you have to send your payment to Cat via snail mail. Samples are fairly pricey & long in coming unless you can find some on a swap board somewhere.

Cory - this foundation is mostly titanium dioxide - you use very, very little. I found that the only way I could get it on smoothly was to swirl my brush in it & then spray the brush with water & then apply to my face. I had to keep blending & blending to get it smooth. It looked very cakey on my face & separated badly. I looked very "greasy" (it wasn't my technique - I've been using mineral makeup for years, I know how to apply it). I also had a difficult time removing this makeup. Finish is matte. My sample order took 4 weeks to arrive. My full size order took 7-10 days to arrive.

GeoGrafx - this is also similar to Aromaleigh 50/50 & Botany 101. Again, not as many color choices as Aromaleigh. Finish is matte. Kimberly has gorgeous eyeshadows, too. Shipping is quick & via priority mail, so it is fairly inexpensive.

Monave - I found this foundation to be too heavy - it was a little cakey & separated after a while. Finish is matte. Samples are fairly reasonable & frankly, I don't remember how long it took to receive them.

Youngblood - consistency similar to Monave. I couldn't find a perfect match colorwise, and the foundation tended to separate after a few hours. Finish is matte. You can find samples on the internet if you do a search.

Hope this helps! :)
Sheer Cover is made by Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals.

Are you sure about that?

To anyone who uses sheer cover, how big are the sizes you get off the infomercial? I heard they were really small. The Bare Escentuals infomercial...they have the regular sizes with lots of brushes.

I've used the Bare Escentuals and liked it other than the settling into fine lines and not good cover for the under eye circles. I liked the glow.
