Re: Foundation
How good is the coverage? I have this uneven tone with some broken vessels and these blackheads that don't get covered up much in the first place and appear even worse at the end of the day. Do you think it would help me? Also I have these tiny little bumps that makeup seems to cling to. Drier foundations seem to cling more than say, a tinted moisturizer. Do you think this stuff would be good for me? I bought max factor's new makeup that blends to your skintone recently and it seems to make me paler, and cling to imperfections and provide so little coverage. Thanks!
I know people were looking for dewey makeup but seeing that a lot of you have the same coverage issues as me, I have to yet again ask have you tried bareminerals? I have scars, some blackheads, freckles, broken bloodvessels, uneven tone, etc and this is my eraser for all of that. I apply it over my moisturizer usually without the mineral veil that is recommended (unless its hot or humid-then the mineral veil keeps me from getting too shiny) and the look is much softer. I really love this stuff, I was a former devotee of prescriptives esp. for foundation and this even changed me from that. After 9 months of using it daily, I am just running out now of a 9gm jar I got off the auction site for about $20-lots of the auction sites have small samples so you can try it too. I didnt even buy their special brush, I just went to my supply house and got a fat brush there. Hope this helps-short of laser and/or chemical peels, this is what I found that worked best for me.

Mineral makeup is on my list of things to try, but I really love the dewey look. I also find that powders stick to the texture of my skin; the tiny bumps and fine hairs that don't show so much until I put it on. I'll try it eventually, and anyway it's good to have more than one foundation that works for different looks! And for different weather.
