I still like the Beyond the Zone Split Mender Leave in conditioner. it seems to have a bit of hold in it as well and keeps my hair nicely wavy/curly without too much volujme, no greasies or flakes.
There is also a product by them called Noodlehead that is make to encourage and keep curls looking good.
They are found at Sally beauty.
I laos have tried the Matrix curl.life line, which was just ok. Nothing special at all.
By the way what is good for the dryness? My hair looks so dry even with the bio-silk and Potion 9 leave in conditioner. What helps culry hair look silky and shiny?
My hair is also curly and frizzy and I like that bedhead look too....I put on a silicone product (like Frizz Ease) when my hair is soaking wet. Then I gently detangle it and put in gel. I blowdry while scrunching but I use the nozzle, not a diffuser, so the curl straightens out a bit. Once it's dry, I scrunch in some type of pomade. Matrix Biolage makes a good creme/wax but it's kind of pricey; I find the cheap ones like Murray's work just as well, if not better. A little goes a long way but for me, wax pomades are miraculous products!
Try Logics ReMoisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner- by Matrix/Biolage- it helps

Hi hun,

I know this is rather late, but I finally found a great spray gell. It was recomended by my stylist and by a friend of mine. My friend would always have these great beautiful curls. It was always shiny and healthy looking so I asked her what she did. She told me to try a spray gel called "Instant Recall". The ONLY place I've ever found this product was in a salon. Needless to say, I love it! My daughter was having trouble with frizzies too and I made her try it one day and now she is hooked too. You can buy a huge bottle for about $24.00, if you can find it, and it last really long. The good thing about this product is that you can spray it in dry hair too and it refreshess it like you've just washed it.

Just to let you know...I've also tried bio silk and although it helps a little, I noticed it weighed my hair down. Instant recall doesn't do that and it makes the ringlets you want. I spray the gel in my hair all over...even underneath. Then I dry it upside down while scrunching the ends.

Chantel
