Hi all !!

I have so many questions. If anyone can offer advice, thoughts or opinions I would greatly appreciate it!

I have dry, very sensitive skin. My skin turns red really easily. I need a foundation rec please! I love the ease of a foundation powder, but my dry flakey skin likes to flare up with it.

I use an exfoliator and a moisturizer. But, I still seem to flake up.

I could use a good moisturizer rec too!

Do I need a foundation primer? I never used a primer before.

Also, I need an eyebrow pencil/powder(?) rec. I have some little sparse parts on my eyebrows. Especially the part where it starts by the eye/nose. I have black eyebrows so do I go a shade lighter (which I read somewhere) or do I match the exact shade, (which I have also read, ughh!)

Can someone recommend a highlighter to apply on top of lipstick?

Also, I need brush recs? What type of brushes do I need? Can anyone recommend types and also brands? (ex: lip brush by..., powder brush by...)

I use to have good brushes but they were lost in a move when I got married. I think I still have a eyeliner brush from MAC but I haven't seen it in a few months. That may be another one I might have to replace.

Fake eyelashes.. Can they be used every day? I read somewhere that they can be used everyday. Any recs on natural looking ones? I always wanted to try fake lashes. But I am okay with just mascara.

Eyeliner: any recs for a pencil that does not tug when applying? Also, any recs for a cake eyeliner? ( I usually use liquid.)

Did I miss anything? Any thoughts, opinions or advice is greatly appreicated.

I am not new to makeup, but for me, makeup is a never ending education.!

TIA!!!
Ohh, fun fun post!!

Okay, summer, I can't stay long but I am going to reply real quick.

**I see you exfoliate, excellent! I use aveeno moisturizer. Use a cream foundation.

** No, a primer is not needed.

** Powder is more natural looking. Go a shade lighter then your natural color. I hear MAC makes a good one.

** Benefit moonbeam

** Natural bristol brushes. Can't say a specific. But if you do a search on the internet, I am sure you can find reviews.

** I read they can be used everyday. They are fun to use. Can't give recommendations of the top of head but the names of a few are in the back of my head. I will reply tomorrow with the names (when I remember the names, lol) if no one else does.

**Almay makes a good liner. I like gel liners also.

** For me too! It's a fun topic that is always getting updated.
*I have super dry skin too and I use a little bit of Vaseline in the spots that are flakey and sensitive before putting on my foundation and it helps a lot!*

*A good moisturizer for me has been Dove with SPF 15*

*A good eyebrow pencil would be from MAC! I have black eyebrows too, so I use a dark brown pencil - ask the employees at MAC they should be able to help you! I've noticed if you use the same color shade on ur eyebrows they look fake and too dark*

*Brushes - MAC!!*

*ALAMAY makes this really nice eyeliner - it's double sided with two different colors - it's called bright eyes i think and very affordable*
*Fake eyelashes check out sephora.com they have some really nice fake eyelashes there, but I would recommend just applying mascara, such as sky high curves or great lash both by maybelline, they're cheap and work great. Also use a eyelash curler - this would be much more practical than fake eyelashes*

Hope this helps
