There are some haircolors that are "high lift". If you're worried about there being too much red, etc, that is what you want. And the ash undertones. You need to look at the number on the developer that is used. The higher the number, the higher the lift. 10 is low and I think I've seen it go up to 30. I would go to Sally Beauty Supply if you have one near you. Or any salon supply that is open to the public. Loreal Excellence is really good haircolor. If you pick dark ash blonde and match it with a high lift developer-cream is better-then it should work out great.

You can also look at the store-bought kits and it should say what the level of the developer is on the box.

The stuff you buy at the supply store is cheaper, though. About $5.00 per coloring, and it is salon quality.
