First off, I'm an esthetic student at a beauty school, so I have textbooks to back up what I'm going to be saying here.:) So, bascially, skin care will be my job when I graduate and what not. Here goes:

No, technically it isn't too early to use these products, but, it depends on what kind you're using. Alpha hydroxy based products aren't bad, but they can contraindicate other products you might be using on your face. Since you have oily skin, you should be using a cleanser that is clear, meaning it doesn't look like a cream. Ones that are designed for oily skin will help take care of that. Also, you should be exfoliating your skin, that actually can help with the lines. Then, you want to find a lightweight moisturizer, like Clean and Clear's Oxygenating Moisturizer. That's what I use and I have no problems with it. Using a moisturizer helps balance out your skin's oil/water content and it also acts as a barrier between your skin and make-up, if you wear any. Also make sure it has an SPF of at least 15 in it.

Why you may be having problems with the Oil of Olay is that it has an oil base to it and that makes your skin even more oily because you're putting more oil onto it. Oil of Olay products are designed for people with mature skin, and they need that extra oil, but since you're so young you don't need it. It's best to stay away from oil based products at your age!

I hope I cleared some things up, but if you need any further information, feel free to ask!
