If you are gonna use mineral foundation I would definatly go with a kabuki brush...Those are the best ones for the mineral foundations..You should try to find one with natural bristles..I personally got mine at walgreens drug store and its made with a mixture of sable and goat hair..You might also look into getting a concealer brush for the extra coverage of trouble spots..The main thing like I was saying is to make sure they are natural bristle brushes..For foundation you really dont need anything more than the kabuki and possibly the concealer brush(You can get by without the concealer brush if you want to). Personally if you arent sure which to get online I would go with the actual bare escentuals line of brushes..You can get just the individual brushes on ****..The bare minerals line was one of the first all mineral makeup and the brushes are fantastic!!Like I said earlier I got my kabuki at Walgreens but the concealer brush I went with bare escentuals..I had bought one at Walgreens and it was even all natural but it just didnt do the job its now an eyeshadow brush..The one I have from BE is awesome...
Good Luck...

So is it just because it is a more "fluffier" brush? The powder brush I have from Merle Norman I beleive is natural hairs. Well. it will do for now. I do prefer to save money on things so if I get the kabuki Ill check out walgreens or target, or possibly the EM premium kabuki because its only $12. I do use a concealor brush now, love them, they are the best things. I figured out that the foundation brush is like the BE max coverage brush and is just intended for more coverage. I guess Ill stop wondering about all the other millions of types of brushes, I like to keep it easy and simple. Thanks!
