I haven't used Sublime Glow but I have used their Sublime Bronze. I used a gel kind and the color came out good.. it was just a bit sticky. It had a self tanner smell, not as bad as the foam kinds, but I still had to shower before going out or getting dressed so I wouldn't smell like it. Since the color was good, I would guess that Sublime Glow works well and hopefully better scented! Let us know if you try it.

Have you asked people at Walmart about the Ocean Potion Ever Glow? I always find mine over by the sunscreens on a huge wall of sunscreens and self tanners. Our Walmart was moving things around and redoing the store but I went to another nearby Walmart and found it there.. but I see that some of them don't carry it and barely have ANY sunscreen for some reason.

Yep, I went to two different WalMart stores and noticed that they moved the tanners and sunscreens to a center aisle. I looked fot the Ocean Potion section and finally found it. All they had was tan enhancers (for sun or bed tanning) and oils or whatever. No Ever Glow. I can never find anyone who works there to ask what happened to Ever Glow... but I doubt that they have it anymore. It's frustrating.

I also went to a different store today to look for L'Oreal Sublime Glow and all I found was Sublime Bronze... Things are so hard to find in the summer when you actually need them.
Thanks for the detailed review, Moonlight! I'll definitely have to try this one out. Oddly enough, it seems like my skin is getting used to the Ocean Potion because it seems like I'm not getting as much results.. or it's just a weird bottle since it is a new bottle I just bought. I remember seeing a difference after a day and now it takes longer!

I agree that if you want noticeable color, don't use the light formulas unless you are extremely pale. I'm fair in color but I like my tan to be noticeable... I actually haven't found a self tanner that works well that makes me as dark as I used to be when I went to the tanning salon (which I will not go back to doing). Seems like all the ones that make me darker smell horrible!
The same exact thing happened to me when I was using OP. The first couple of bottles worked great. Than one time I bought 2 bottles and once to "stock up" just in case they ran out later (it's like I knew they would stop selling it at WalMart after that). The first bottle was great, the second hardly did anything at all. I guess it just depends on how long the lotion has been sitting around or something (mine was sitting for about 2 weeks before I started using it).
OP is great it's just impossible to find, and Ever Glow is everywhere it's a good thing that it works well.
I bet by the time summer is over they'll bring back OP at the WalMart where I found it. That's usually how it works. I swear they sell more lotions and sun screens during the winter than they do in the summer when you actually need it more.

None of the tanners I've tried work as great as the sun, but I can't put my skin through that. The ones that go dark do smell awful, but they always turn my skin yellow. After a few days it goes darker and looks more natural... but I hate having yellow-orange skin for even a short amount of time.

What I absolutely hate about these tanners is how easily they come off. I was swimming all weekend in a lake (no chlorine or any chemicals that would make the tan fade faster), and probably more than half the color came off/faded in like one day.
