I wear clinique's almost make up foundation year round. I don't like heavy foundations and I don't really need it (I just put some concealer around my nose and eyes -- I use clinique's all about eyes concealer). It's a nice tinted moisturizer and is easy on your skin.

I also find for the hotter/humid days where I tend to get a bit shiny (ugh, dry in the winter, shiny in the summer!) I use MAC mineral powder. You can get it with and without talc. I like both. It's light and helps with the shine factor and really easy/quick to apply.

As well, if you DO tend to get shiny in the summer a nice oil blotting paper is GREAT. I currently have the clinique ones which are pricey (I don't intend to buy them again) but I've tried the body shop ones (~$11 for two packs) and their tea tree oil ones are good for very oily skin and their regular ones are good for everyone else (but they do have sensitive skin ones too). As well, you can actually use perm roller papers! They're really cheap, but work the same!

As for eyes, I tend to lighten it up a bit and go for more pinks and purples and lighter colours, although I do add an orangy shimmery palate on some days to bring my blue eyes out. In the winter I wear more gold colours and darker greens.

A nice shimmer powder is good too. I use body shop's shimmer waves in the gold/orangy tones. You can get pink tones too. It's nice a light and not overly glittery.

Oh and I almost forgot: clinique's buttershine lipstick has a nice shine for the summer, but I also like body shop's lip balm in a shimmery tone (they have mint and tangerine in the shimmery) but their raspberry and strawberry leave a nice light hint of colour.
I'll have to look into that Clinique makeup! Unfortunately in the past the lightest color was still a little bit too dark for me! I definitely will be doing some airbrush tanning soon. I used to be on the very middle or just above middle of the shades from tanning and love having that glow, but I know my airbrush tanning will unfortunately never make me as dark as the unsafe tanning. I need a little bit of coverage b/c I've had some acne issues lately, but I don't like anything that feels heavy. Mineral makeup did NOT work out for me! I tried a few brands and gave up.

I also use blotting sheets and they are lifesavers! I use the little blue plastic kinds by Clean & Clear though. Any kind of blotting papers/sheets are excellent for keeping shine away.

I haven't bought anything at the Body Shop before, suprisingly! I'll have to go check it out!
