Facial hair removal
Oct 28, 2009
I used to have a lot of baby hairs around my forehead which i stuupidly started plucking at the age of 16. I am now 28 and seem to be going higher and higher so my hairline is way too high, also i have to pluck every day and the skin around that area feels very rough. how can iget rid of this problem also my other concern is aronud this area i have a dark shadow, what is causing this? Could you also please tell me that is a battery operated shaver the same as using an ordinary shaver as i use one on my upper lip. Although i have no problems with this are there any long term damaging effects? I seem to be getting a dark shadow there aswell though, what is causing this? please help?!
Stop plucking. Constant tweezing can cause scarring and hyperpigmentation, which may be the dark shadow you are experiencing. I recommend seeing an electrologist who can give your forehead the proper shape permanently.

As for the upper lip shadow, if you are only shaving, and not plucking, the shadow can be either dark hair under the skin or from hormones. Birth control pills are notorious for causing this. The little battery shaver are a great temporary method for removing the hair on your lip. I would consider electrolysis for your lip as well if you'd like a permanent solution.
