Hello, we do both services at the spa where I work. Hydrafacial is better for a dryer skin type from what I understand, although I have heard some clients complain that it made them feel dry. Chemical peels are your best bet for sun damage and large pores and acne. I have had the best luck with glycolic acid personally. A jessner peel is great for all of the above but your skin sheds for a few days, kind of like a snake lol. So don't do it before an important event. The end results are fabulous, however.
