... keup. I checked out Aromaleigh, and decided to order some samples. I think they'll be coming to my house tomorrow. I just wanted to say that if you can afford Sheer Cover, it is a wonderful light feeling makeup with great coverage. ... (5 replies)
... If you're interested in mineral makeup, there are other brands that are even less expensive than Sheer Cover - and you can get samples of them for a really reasonable price. Try looking up Botany 101, Cory, Monave, GeoGrafx, Aromaleigh, Alpha Skin Care, & Evan's Garden. I've tried all of them & the ones that work best for me are Aromaleigh, Botany 101, & Geografx. ... ed great! I did however decide that I could not continue to purchase the product because of the cost. I now use Aromleigh and I love it. If you can afford the sheer cover, it is wonderful makeup!! I wish I could keep using it, but the Aromaleigh is just about as great! And it many more color choices. ... (3 replies)

... es from Cory and don't like any of them, try another brand. I've ordered samples from both Cory and Aromaleigh. Haven't received Cory samples yet, but I just got Aromaleigh yesterday and I've found a combo of 2 colors that work on me. I have a tone that's usually really hard to find a true match. ... ... xoctinaox, I don't use bare minerals, I use Aromaleigh. After I apply the foundation and finishing powers I spritz my face (several sprays) with water, then lightly pad over it with a flocked sponge. This does wonders and makes the foundation "melt" into your skin. And I don't notice any of the make up coming off on the sponge. Maybe this would work with Bare Minerals? (8 replies)

... You have to look at other things, too - not just makeup. What type of cleanser are you using? Do you use a toner/astringent? Any other products? If you use too many products that are made to strip oil from your face or products that are too harsh - your face is stripped of oil - then the body responds by producing more oil, so you end up even oilier. A gentle cleanser, a... (2 replies)

... OKay, I'm back! LOL! Anyway, some mineral makeups that DON'T contain bismuth are Aromaleigh, GeoGrafx, Botany 101, & Monave. There may be more. But you'll want to avoid Bare Minerals/Escentuals, Youngblood, Sheer Cover, & Jane Iredale. You can get samples of AL, GG, & Monave for reasonable prices. The samples from Botany are reasonable but it can take up to 6-8 weeks to... (6 replies)
... Lissie, I like Aromaleigh, GeoGrafx, & Botany 101 - but I won't buy Botany 101 because it takes 6-8 weeks to receive, yet they charge you when you order. They are both less expensive than BE & both are made with matte mica & without bismuth. Samples are available from both Aromaleigh & GeoGrafx for a resonable price. FYI - Sheer Cover also contains shiny mica & bismuth,... (37 replies)

... Mostly online - although some brands have stores. Aromaleigh, GeoGrafx, Monave, Botany 101, Youngblood, Sheer Cover, Bare Minerals/Escentuals, Jane Iredale, Canary, etc. (3 replies)
... Mineral makeup is made from minerals & doesn't contain all the additives found in *regular* makeup. It doesn't clog pores (although different mineral makeups have different ingredients, so you might find that some don't work well with your skin, while others do), looks very natural, & is actually good for your skin. Some mineral makeups contain bismuth oxychloride, which... (19 replies)

... Aromaleigh has so many colors, I couldn't choose. Same thing with Jane Iredale, both of which I've heard are great. Never tried Sheer Cover...anyone else try it? ... (10 replies)
