Hm, I'm on Orthro Novum 1/35 and It's weird, I don't see many people talking about being on it.

I like it, I only had some crazy side effects for my first week but after that, it was fine and normal. Except, my breasts feel tender all the time, except if I'm on the inactive pills. I don't mind it...but it hurts a lot when anything pushed down on them. I havn't really experienced a lost libido or anything but I've only been on it for 2 months.
Regarding: Ortho Novum 1/35 aka Necon 1/35 aka Norinyl 1/35 aka Nortrel 1/35
(all of these have the same drugs in them, just different generic names, which is why you don't hear about ortho novum, it is the brand name!)

Ortho novum 1/35 has medium estrogen, medium/high progestin, and medium androgen effects

Breast tenderness is a side effect of having either too much estrogen/progestin/androgen activity in your oral contraceptive. If it bothers you, you may want to talk to your doctor about switching to a lower-dose pill.

Other side effects:
Too much estrogen: nausea, bloating, breast tenderness, increased blood pressure, headache, skin pigment changes
Too little estrogen: early cycle breakthrough bleeding
Too much progestin: breast tenderness, headache, fatigue, mood changes
Too little progestin: late cycle breakthrough bleeding
Too much androgen: increased appetite, weight gain, acne/oily skin, increased hairiness, decreased libido, breast tenderness, increased cholesterol
