It does NOT take a couple of months for the pill to be effective as birth control. If you started the pill on the first day of your period, you are usually protected right away. If you were a Sunday starter, you're usually protected after 7 days on the pill.

I have heard of some women skipping periods their first month on Yaz, so it's possible it's just taking awhile for your body to get used to the pill. I doubt you are pregnant if you have been taking your pill properly (not skipping days, not on antibiotics & having unprotected sex, not having diarrhea or throwing up). If you want to ease your mind, you can take a home pregnancy test to be sure, but I think you're probably fine.
hi. i just switched from yasmin to yaz a month ago. i started the white pills wednesday and still haven't gotten my period. i've looked around online and i have seen that a lot of people have missed periods. it's weird.
