Bleeding for two weeks on Yaz

Hi there,

I'm 23 yo, and I've been on Yaz since September of 2006. It took me many months of continuous bleeding to adjust along with a few yeast infections... but for the past maybe four months, I feel like I'm finally regular with this bcp and as long as I take my pill at the exact same time every night I have had little break through problems.

This month however, I felt I was good about taking my pill at 10:30 on the dot except a couple of nights when I took it an hour late. When I reached the second week of my pack, I got a yeast infection and started spotting with regular period-like cramps. The flow continued to increase to about moderate volume and I treated the yeast infection successfully.

I've been now bleeding for two weeks and it has been gradually letting up so it's been only very light through the time I would normally have a period. I've just started a new pack and would have expected to have some sort of normal flow by now.

In terms of sexual activity, my bf and i have been apart all summer, but did have sex the weekend before I started bleeding. He still uses a condom though and pulls out...because we really really don't want to be pregnant and are therefore extra careful. It seems unlikely that I would be pregnant and I feel normal otherwise.

Is this just problems again with my bcp? Do you have any ideas what could be going on?
