... You have already been on the pill several months, and it's a monophophasic pill, so hopefully you should be fine skipping. Since Alesse has less hormones then other pills (only 20mcg of estrogen) it's possible that you might have spotting or breakthrough bleeding like a period, but there is no way to tell without trying. ... I dunno, I wish I could help. I haven't tried it on yasmin but I had a bad experience with the skipping thing on Alesse, which is also a low low dosage and I just got the period for like a whole month--really bad and heavy bleeding so I'm too scared to try it again! (3 replies)

... It may not work, however. You could always talk to your doctor about switching to a monophasic pill for the month of July. Alesse is low dose just like OTC lo, but it's monophasic and more likely to let you skip a period then OTC lo. ... (1 replies)
