Anyway, if you are controlling mild-hypertension then you can just stop using the drug starting from tommorow. ... Just wait it out. When you take an ACE inhibitor for awhile to block the formation of angiotensin-2, your body will make MORE RENIN and angiotensin-1 (precursers to ang-2) to compensate. So when the ACE is UNBLOCKED by stopping the lisinopril there is a lot more of the precursors for ACE to work on and I would expect a large temporary production of angiotensin-2, a potent...
