... Hi Ginny, It takes about 10 days for the med to be out of your system. You should know how things progress by regular checking. I don't know why Docs do that. Mine was smart. She started with 10 mg and that brought my readings down from 150/95 or so, to 125/72. I even maintained good readings with 5mg. But, I couldn't take the ulcer like pains that accompanied the...
