... Hi to all fellow members about 4 years ago i saw my GP he examined my rectum and said i had a slight prolapse and one large hemerrhoid which he thought would was too big for banding. Another year passed and i went to see a bowel specialist. While he examined me he said i had no prolapse just two hemerrhoids. He said he could band them NOW if i wanted.I did not know what to... ... years now I've been having chronic diarrhea and every now and then, normal bm's but narrow stool. I've been feeling much less energetic lately and also, I got hemerrhoids to top it off. The rhoids I thought were gone, but I still get itching. If I scratch....man oh man....It looks as if my rectum is trying to puff out of me. ... (5 replies)

... for long periods, also because the bowel movements were sometimes hard, sometimes loose and sometimes frequent. And there were the dietary changes, too. So the hemerrhoids got irritated and did bleed a couple of times. If, however, you see a lot of blood, call the doc and run it by him or her. ... (104 replies)

... Sorry you couldn't go back sooner. That probably would be a good ideal to try again and have only one at a time. That's how my doc does it. I don't think i could handle more than that. Surgery would be my last resort. I will let my doc band mine till there gone. Because of my IBS, she thinks i will need to come back in 5 years and have it done again. I hope you can get rid of... ... Hi Bessie, Sorry the banding didn't go well for you. Were you not able to go back and have them banded again? Sometime large hemorrhoids require more than one banding. That's so sad about your husband.:( I hope everything gets better for you! (3 replies)
... ng before either. I have an appointment next week, but if anybody has any advice, or familiarity with this I'd be very thankful. Searching the net for stuff on hemerrhoids is pretty useless, as I'm sure you've all come to find out. ... (1 replies)
... Hi KrisKC... I have some tags that need removal as well but nobody's replied to my post either. I was told by one surgeon they were too cosmetic to operate on, and another told me i'd need a full hemorrhoidectomy to get rid of them. i already rubber-banded the internal ones and it's simply the tags that bother me now, and don't know why FULL sURGERY is necessary. Did you... (12 replies)

... sander2020, I think you should take a water soluble fiber supplement like psyllium that is in Metamucil and Equate brand from Wal Mart as well as other brands. It will bulk up your stool and make you regular with out straining. Constipation and straining with BMs is the biggest cause on hemerrhoids. Make sure you take it like the directions say--- not drinking enough... (3 replies)
... I'm at my wits end as well! Only, I've been having this problem for 3 years now. I'm not in any pain but, I have diarrhea all the time and even got hemerrhoids because of it. My doc is sending me to a specialist but it's going to be 7 months until I can do so. Unreal. I don't have the energy to do anything anymore. ... (6 replies)

... Thank you for your reply. It was pure psylium husk I took, not metamucil etc. A few years ago I was taking 2 tablespoons a day without problems. When I started it this time, I started with about a half tablespoon & worked my way up to a full tablespoon. My food intolerances are numerous! I also have food allergies. Easier to tell you what I can eat that what I can't... (7 replies)
... I just looked it up & it is the test I thought it was. I've never heard of sedation for this...I've had it done twice, in Doc's office with no prior arrangement for the test. He looked on the screen while he did it and told me what he saw after. I had it done for rectal bleeding...turned out to be minor stuff (hemerrhoids & fissure). I really can't get over fact you are... (8 replies)

... Hi, Kriskc I too have the same problem as yours, the skin tag was developed during my recovery from an internal haemorrhoids surgery which I had done in June this year. My doctor has advised me to go for another surgery to remove it. However the fear of going through another stage of pain has overtaken me and I chickened out also. Just wanna to find out anyone of you has... (12 replies)
... Hello all, My 4 yr old son has a plethera of problems, one of them being chronic bowel impactions. To start at the beginning, knowing I would be doing a good thing for him, I strictly breastfed him when he was born, almost immediately he had bowel problems.
