... is the blood streaking on the poop or the tissue, it could be piles or hemmaroids, or it could be a small anal fissure(tearing caused by straining and constipation). It sounds like you could have IBS, which can cause all the symptoms you described. Oily and fatty foods, and sugary foods can cause someone with bowel issues, to have intense symptoms. ... You don't mention the actual stool itself? Constipation, large volume, difficult to pass, etc?? Also the level of pain doesn't sound typical of an anal fissure from my experience at least... ... Hi inkdown, I had IBS many years ago and know exactly what you are going through. You may want to have your doctor check for diverticulitis which may be the reason for the irritation.
