... Hi Paul, I'm so glad that you are having such success. I just heard of this procedure today. In my case, I was told that I have redundant mucosal in the rectum. It's also referred to as rectal mucosal prolapse. The colorectal said nothing needs to be done for it unless it begins to bleed or protrude out the anus. This is gross,I know,but she told me that the only way she could move her bowels was in tub full of warm water or using a sitz bath.
