Hemroid question
Jul 4, 2005
... There are two kids of hemroids, internal & external. Internal originates inside the rectum & protrudes out the anus hole. External originates outside the rectum & it protrudes through the anus sphincter muscles, not the anus hole. External sometimes has arterial blood, bright red, if it bleeds. If it is internal it can be pushed back inside with a finger. Prep-H only... (8 replies)
Hemroid question
Jul 1, 2005
... I'm a male so I don't need to worry about the pregnency issue. My mother who was a nurse told me it was a hemroid, she also has the problem. I have looked into the individual insurance policies and will most likely go that route. I have started eating better this past week however I have not had a bm in 2 days. I'm scared that when I do it will hurt so fingers crossed. Thank... (8 replies)
Hemroid question

... tor but the blood is starting to freak me a bit. The tucks now have a good sized spot on them and now after each bm blood drips into the toilet. I do beleive the hemroid itself has gone down in size but I'm really not sure on that. Hopefully this just goes away and does not return for a long long while. ... (8 replies)

... I noticed a protruding bulge abaout 2 days ago and have since determined its a hemroid. I have used tucks and prep h but its still not going away. It doesn't really hurt nor does it hurt when I have a bm. Just uncomfortable. The only time it hurts is after using toilet paper. There is no blood either. I'm curious on anyones opinion on how to go about treating this. Is the... (8 replies)

... Hi, I havent gone to see a doctor yet because I hate going to doctors, but if I have to go than I'm willing to. I'm pretty sure that I have or had a hemroid in the past. Its probably genetic, my dad always has problems with them. Well, I thought I had an external hemroid but it has never bothered me. ... (4 replies)

... I have the same question. I had some itching/burning last weekend, but just noticed the lump last night. I'm also have more itching and pain, especially when I squeeze the muscle. I had a tiny bit of blood last weekend, but none since - just the other sypmtoms. I think a Pilonidal Cyst is located more near the top of the butt crack, where as mine is closer to the anal... Question

... Possible hemroid? Kinda an embarrassing question, but seems like whenever I go to the bathroom and I whipe, there is some red blood on the paper. It does not appear to be on the other stuff. I do have to push sometimes, and it feels like it doesn't pass as easily as it could. I'm not actually constipated, but it feels a little rough i guess? I am 19 years old, so is it even... ... Sunshinehead, I probably already asked you this question, but did your surgean use sutures or did he cauterize the site? Also, how many externals were removed and how big were they? Also, and I swear it is the last question, what finally made you go ahead with the surgery? Was it persistant pain? repeated thrombosis? I only ask because I am experiencing the same issues,... ... Hi Heder Kennyboy has given you good advice. Don't worry and relax with your new baby :) If possible (and I know it can be difficult while caring for a newborn) try to eat a healthy diet with fibre and your hemorroids could go away themselves. Exspecially since they were pregnancy related. If they don't go still don't worry and go see your doctor when you are ready they... (2 replies)
... Hemorrhoid problems triggered by childbirth is a very common problem. Most women get over them in time from what I have been told by women who have suffered from them. I wouldn't treat it as an emergency and I'm sure it can wait a week but in the meantime read as much as you can about hemorrhoids and how to deal with them so that you can understand most of what your OB will... ... I am a 29 year old female. After inspection it looks as if I have hemroids. First of all I had a baby 5 weeks ago. A few weeks later I got diarrhea. Then a few days later a bit of itching.....and then a couple days later I noticed a little bit of blood. After inspecting I noticed what looks like hemroids. ... Hi, tomorrow afternoon I am going to have a hemorrhoid surgery and they prescribed me with tylenol extra strength and colace (aside from the nausea meds). they told me to have sits baths 3 times a day and after every BM's for about a week. I just wanted to know if there is something else I can do to reduce the pain and make my BM's smoother. I have read all the blog posts... (3 replies)

Hemroid question
Jul 1, 2005
... You have only one and a mild case at that - I seriously doubt anyone would consider banding this for you. Even women who push out horkers during birth are only given salves! I don't think the hemorroids that get removed come back, but some people will often get another one in it's place and assume it's the same one having returned. (8 replies)
Hemroid question
Jul 1, 2005
... Thank you for your response. I definitely am starting to eat better, incorporating fiber in the diet especially. I had a bm today and before I went the tucks had a bit of blood on it. After the bm the toilet paper also had blood. Not much but it wasn't a little pink spot but red. Still no pain so I will just keep on the path I'm on. If I had it banded off do they come back? If...
