Hi Flo, Read your post and hope I can shed some light on your question. Have you been diagnosed with ptc(pseudo-cerebri hypertension)? Means that you have too much cranial fluid around your brain, causing high pressure and pain. Don't know about the vein question, but suggest you go to an opti-neurologist. If you do have ptc, it can rob you of your vision, and the only real way they can tell if you have this disease, is to do a spinal tap, to check the pressure. The symptoms of ptc, are usually, daily, severe headaches, whoosing and ringing in your ears, blurry vision, light phobia, short term memory loss, neck and sholder pain, etc. Usually can be controlled with meds, but like me, after a year of meds, had to get a shunt. to relieve the pressure. Hope this helps. Hugs,Susieq
