I have been experiencing this pain that comes on sudden and lasts only a few seconds to a minute. It is very painful! It's a sharp shooting pain that is located at the back of my head where the head meets the neck. It occurs on either side (left or right). I have been experiencing this since I was a child. It comes and goes when it wants to. Nothing that I know of triggers it. I always thought it was something normal and that everyone experiences it. I do suffer from migraines & headaches. Although when this happens I do not have a migraine or headache. I suffered a fractured skull at 1 1/2 years old. I also have a family history of neurological diseases. My mother has both MS and Epilepsy. I thought I would share this information because I thought it might help. Does anyone know what this pain may be caused from??? Thank You!!! ;)
