Brain & Nervous System Disorders Message Board

Brain & Nervous System Disorders Board Index

On December 2 I woke up and couldn't lift my head off my chest and had this radiating pain from my upper back through my left shoulder down to my finger tips. For two weeks I stared at the floor because I couldn't lift my head up. I have had three MRI's since then and they found a lesion on my cervical spine, I have a small white matter on the right side of my brain and arthritis through out my cervical and thoracic spine. I am only 31 years old and suddenly have a hard time holding onto anything with my left hand and still get the pins and needles - kind of feels like I am constently hitting my funny bone. I can't look up at the ceiling because I get this juicy poping sound in my neck and the pain is too much.
Only my left arm, upper back and neck seem to be affected I have not had any problems with my legs. I have no lesions on my brain so the neurologist said he didn't think it was MS.
They want to do a Mylogram next but I am hesitant because I feel like a lab rat and don't feel like I am getting anywhere.
Has anyone ever had something like this before?
-Thanks from the lab rat still looking for the cheese-
