Well, when you say how long did it take for me to realize something was wrong .. well, ... I knew something was wrong, when after what I thought was a typical sinus infection problem, continued on well longer than I had ever experienced before in my life. I can say that I had some days that would be better than others, but the majority of the time I felt the pressure in the back of my head, the neck pain, dizziness, jaw pain, etc ... and insisted each time I visited a different doctor or specialist that I thought I had meningitis, because it felt at times like my brain was swollen, but all tests, etc., came back to show all was fortnately normal .. but not in my world ... so that lead me on to much much research on my own, until I came across the possibility of the Atlas problem .. there is lots of information out there that you might want to read before you determine if this might help your condition as well, but as I said to Pat, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain ... most Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractors offer free consultations .. so they can atleast help determine before you start any treatment with you if in fact your Atlas if off .. they do this with a very specific process, using xray's and specific mathematical figures ... so atleast you'd know and could go from there ... I just wish anyone who has had any of my symptoms would atleast give this a try .. you might be happily surprised to find what you've all been searching for ... relief ... What other symptoms are you experiencing? How long has this been a problem for you? Do you know of anything that might have triggered this? Did you fall, have an accident, get any recent vaccinations, take any new medicine? Let me know and all my best to you. Feel better.
how can i see this montel williams video? a acctually was feeling dizzy before i got my flu shot. acctually i was feeling that way during my shot. its like i could still carry on a conversation with the pharmasist, but in my head i was like oh my god, oh my god...i feel so weird and out of it. theres head pressure and i'm sensitive to sound and light. the thing is, this comes and goes although i've felt this way since middle october, i havent experienced it in a year or two. i've had small episodes like out at dinner when theres alot going on but never has it stayed this long before. its almost like the cold weather here has triggered it. does any of this sound right? back in october my family doctor prescribed me some type of steroid to take for a week to cure an inner ear infection due to my dizziness, which is also what they called this ten years ago when i had these problems. i felt better for maybe a week, but i think i was just telling myself i felt better, but i didnt and still dont. i'm sorry to hear about you accident..and see that is why i'm sceptical we have the same problems b/c you were in a severe car accident, i only fell down on my butt, but thats why i don't think this is just a sinus infection, or ear infection b/c this all started with my fall. help? i'm clueless oh and yes i have had neck pain. but no jaw pain, i've seen alot of people at this bored talking of jaw pain whats this associated with? i'm very new to this bored.
Hi Kristi,
You can go on his website to view the video .. that's what I did. I too have teh same feelings you do with the head pressure, light, sound and crowd sensitivity and feeling of being out of it. I was also put on steriods for my inner ear, which helped me while I was on them, but once I finished them, the symptoms seem to just come back. I was told that it was because the steroids would temporarily reduce the inflammation in my neck area, therefore causing some relief. I still would highly recommend you check out the Montel video and just go see a specialized Orthogonal Chiropractor for a free consultation .. all that you'll find out is whether or not this is a possible answer to your symptoms .. let me know how you make out.
Best of luck to you.
