have you had your blood pressure checked recently?

sometimes I get the tingling too on top or in the back of my head....I hve 2 bulging discs in my neck.

also lack of enough oxygen to the brain can cause the tingling.

stress can cause a lot of physical sx....that is good you're getting your eyes checked out.

My friends and fellow sufferers of the enigmatic "weird feeling" in our heads, let me share a few optimistic solutions I've stumbled upon.

Before I begin, allow me to preface my thoughts by saying that I'm not 100% symptom free, but I do feel better. Let me add that I'm not sure if there will ever be a total answer, so I've become my own doctor and hounded all of my doctors to help and been vigilant against the wrong kind of help; it took a lot of poor medical help to make me this way.

After having a series of debilitating migraines, I was left with a dizzy/woozy hangover feeling. My PCF thought it was allergies and or inner ear, my ENT thought migraines, then my neurologist started hinting around about my emotional state. All the while I kept pushing my PCF to think differently with me.

In the end, I recognized a few keys that really impact the way my head feels...and it's perceptual/cognition related, not emotional, so if you know that's not the case, then take comfort and don't be told otherwise. You're allowed to be worried about your health without needing meds even if the side effects of them are beneficial to dizziness (there are other meds).

I learned that I have sleep apnea (use a CPAP) and I grind my teeth at night significantly. I sought out a facial pain specialty dentist who helped me with my TMJ and the resulting dizziness and head tension. He also works on whole head and neck pain and talked about how I'm living "posture wrong" and putting a lot of strain on the bundle of nerves in my neck. The result is ongoing therapy to help those nerves, sleep in the best position, sit, and even stand properly as well as in the best type of chairs. I also see a chiropractor here and there too.

In the end, I get relief from seeing that specialized dentist for facial and neck therapy (mostly warm packs, stretching, and electrical stim), the night-time grinding is an ongoing effort, hard to fix something you do in your sleep. Never the less, I hope this encourages some of you.

You may be grinding extremely hard at night and if you look into the side effects of bruxism you'll see that some of us may meet the criteria. If you're not new to it, then your dentist may have already mentioned that you grind by the flattening of your teeth. A mouth guard will help your teeth, but won't elminate the activity.

Try them out; it's been a comfort to me and now I'm just dealing with not feeling 100%, but then again, I didn't often feel 100%, but with these doctors and the MRI's, CAT scans, and doctor visits, I know I'm not dying any sooner than I was supposed to...God willing.

I wish you all well and as one last note, my early symptoms were made worst by the wrong medications, particularly antihistimines that made me feel disassociated. Now I'm just focusing on health, diet, and blood pressure with those docs.
