hey Bill..here's what I found:

calcium use & excretion are regulated & stabilized by a "feedback loop" involving the PTH(parathyroid gland) & Vitamin D

there are two tests for calcium..drs. use the total calcium, but the ionized calcium is a better, more accurate test.

symptoms of higher calcium are:

Fatigue
Weakness
Loss of Appetite
Nausea
Vomiting
Constipation
Abdominal Pain
Urinary Frequency
Increased Thirst
Muscle Spasms
Confusion

tests that should also be done when calcium is high are:

urine calcium
phosphoroos
magnesium
vitamin D
thyroid

these tests help in finding the "underlying problem" when calcium is high.

fluctuations in calcium can cause heart to slow down or beat too rapidly.

causes of high calcium:

benign tumor in parathyroid gland
cancer
hyperthyroidism
sarcoidosis
prolonged immobilization
excess vitamin D intake
kidney transplant

your albumin was at high end>5.0(3.6-5.1)..that points to Dehydration(which would account for your increased thirst)

I hope you find this information helpful...I find it very interesting and it has helped me understand a few more things also.

I will continue to investigate the head pressure to see if it can be related in some way to this information.

Have a good day Bill
