Your symptoms sound like they could be allergies, that cause pressure in the front of the head and behind the eyes, and brain fog, especially since it is worse when you lay down, and better when you are up. I would suggest trying an over the counter daytime antihistamine for allergies, or a nasal spray. These will make it so your sinuses are not swelling and reacting to airborne particles.
