HI,
:)
Dont mean to worry you at all, infact trying to do the complete opposite but I have a huge arachnoid cyst on my brain which causes a huge amount of pressure on my brain- but mine is treated with a shunt (as mentioned above)

Many cysts do not grow, your doctor may have told you that, but that doesnt go to say they dont grow. Mine certainly did when i was a baby.

Many go without symptoms, these are usually the ones that are found by mistake. They are found by mri/ct scans whilst doctors are looking for something else. These are usually the cysts you shouldnt really owrry about unless you have been feeling unwell ie headaches, nausea, poor eyesight, decrease in appetite, not being able to focus or balance etc.

Should you be concerned following those types of symptoms, then please be adamant with your doctor, as they, more than often, will turn you away again and again.
Ive had 17 brain operations with my cyst now, mine is far too big to be removed as my brain has accommodated itself around it for too long, but for the smaller ones they can be fenestrated.

Best of luck to you :)
