... Find you a good neurologist and ask for a CT scan. Sounds like you may have a tumor on the brain. If so make sure you find a surgeon with good qualifications you'll feel safe with to do the surgery. It's going to be a long ride to recovery if it's so. Good luck (9 replies)
... You should absolutely try to have the MRI with and w/o contrast! Re: your eyes, it would probably be a good idea to get a referral to see a neuro-ophthalmologist to see what's going on with the nerve. A regular neuro or ophthalmologist can't take the place of this type of specialist! (9 replies)

... I think your neurologist is right, get an MRI. Some of your symptoms seem to be those of a pituitary tumor and sometimes they don't show up on a CT scan. You might also see an endocrinologist and get ALL of your hormones tested if you haven't already. The hormone problems board has some information about pituitary tumors so you might post over there.
