... :D I had to laugh when I read that! The same thing happened to my doctor when she pressed on my swollen and infected lymph nodes prior to my biopsy. I tried to warn her but she was too fast with the fingers!:D I also laughed at your use of maxi pads for the drainage! I did the same thing! They work better than anything they have from surgery... ... I saw the surgeon on call and he did a culture and put me on antibiotics. The culture came back with two organisms present. I see my own surgeon tomorrow for follow up. It still hurts a lot, but the fever has broken so I feel better in that regard, and the copious lymph fluid drainage has stopped. So, I'm on the mend. :) (17 replies)
... Hi Bummer. Sorry to hear this news. Are you gooing to be able to see a surgeon who is on call while your guy is away? Really sounds necessary. Some warm compresses will help to draw out any infection until you se someone, but sure sounds like an antibiotic might be needed. keep us posted reach (17 replies)
