My son wears a brace on his left leg, but runs, plays basketball, bowls, hikes, etc. He has also somewhat impaired coordination of his left hand and arm. As every case of CP is unique, it's difficult to predict exactly; besides words "mild", "moderate" etc. are often used pretty subjectively and all people don't fit neatly into the categories mild/moderate/severe. ... Hi: We are "waiting for a diagnosis" too, so I know how it is. We hit that same issue, as our preemie even became too big (and strong) too swaddle. Here is an idea that coulkd work for at least another month or 2 (if you don't live in a warm place). On top of all the soothing things you regularly do: night-time bottle, low-lights, etc: try changing baby into one of those... (3 replies)
