... r. I was right all along. I may not have know what was wrong, but I knew there was something wrong. She now gets therpy 3x a week, water therpy 2x a week and her high tone has improved greatly. Water therpy is a great method to start with. Once they are in the water and feel the freedom of movement they want more. ... (8 replies)

... thanks for the reply ,yes i take her to Phsio and speech therapy and we have started Hypobaric oxygen which has really made a difference i just do not want to wast anymore time , if their is more i can do for her. did you find it diffcult coping with the whole cp dignoses, i am having a hard time i do not want to see family 'cause everything they say ticks me off./ (8 replies)

Startle Reflex...

... er. Some of them have Baclofen pumps, and that does seem to help somewhat with the startle reflex. Part of it seems to depend how bad their spasticity and muscle tone was to start with. ... (32 replies)
... eal about it. Hannah does hold her head up now, she didnt for a long time, but she is still unable to hold her own weight. They have told me that normally when a baby is a right Hemi, like hannah they never crawl but do go straight into walking, but its usually at about age 3 or seems a little far stretch though... ... ... I'm a new poster and actually have a question for any of you moms out there with 2 kids. One of my boys has CP with variable tone (high in his extremities, low in the trunk) and one without. My baby(well, now 21 months old) has CP. He also has reflux and is failure to thrive, so he's still in his infant carrier and I have been able to use a tandem stroller for the 2 boys... (0 replies)
