... casting is done by putting casts(serial) on legs(for the foot, ankle, help with hamstrings, calves), arms(for the forearm, hand, etc...), wherever it is needed to help stretch that part of the body(the muscles, tendons, etc....). Sometimes botox is applied before and then casts are put on (to help stretch those muscles because botox numbs, relaxes, paralyzes those... (10 replies)

... Amgfos, I endured so many "experimental" surgeries and so much physical thearpy between the ages of 5 and 17 that I could just scream, even now! While it is important to stretch and exercise the joints and muscles, it's especially important to do this while your bones and muscles are still growing.
