... knee and the child was placed upright in this "table" for hours at a time. THIS WAS TORTURE! Trust me! Being forced to sleep with locked braces was torture too. ... It's very hard to expect a regular regimen of stretching of a nine year-old. I have to admit we occasionally get lax, but we do try to keep at it. We let him have a break over the holidays and now it's time to get back to the routine. Thank you all for your replies. They are encouraging and I'll share your encouragement with my son.
