| about six to eight weeks ago, my husband was diagnosed with type II diabetes. His blood sugar was over 500 and his tc was 365 - the ldl was not given because of high tc and high trigs - he was started on zorcor 40 and tricor - everything is much better now and his blood sugar is controlled and he is exercising and losing weight - he is feeling good now and the doctor thinks the total cholesteral cannot be too low, however with a tc of 136 after only 6 weeks on medicines, if he keeps on losing weight and exercising, I was surprised the dosage of zorcor wasn't cut down. His thallium stress test was normal and all the other tests they did were normal - I know they recently changed the cholesteral chart (who knows what they will say in a few years - they also did tests to see if he had any nerve damage from the diabetes and he does not - I don't think he is depressed, but I will be sure to notice in light of what you said about the low ldl - thanks for your reply. By the way does anyone know if zorcor can cause ED - my husband has had a recent problem just since taking the zorcor and thought it may be related |
