I'm still not sure whether to believe the websites that say that you only have to take HALF of whatever you were taking with other brands...that it is absorbed better in the intestines being enteric coated. (rather than regular fish oil pills that dissolve in the stomach). IF that is true, I'd only have to take 1500 mg...not 3000. ... (7 replies)
... Somewhere between 1800-3000 mg daily should help. You can even go a bit higher, if you want, but I wouldn't go over 4 grams/daily. It's also best to split dosages up, 3 times daily, instead of all at once. Also, these are omega 3 doses. Some brands contain more omega 3 than others, so make sure to check the labels.
