If you look at my #'s, it is the LDL that is culprit, HDL and Trigs are good. Will the Tricor - 165mg help with LDL ? Lipitor worked wonders at 5mg, but the pain was unpleasent. I trying the cinimon and oatmeal.....any other suggestions ? Otherwise very healthy, great shape, but do have family risk factor with previous heart disease in familiy. No more statins![/QUOTE]

I have been on tricor for several months and my hdl is up 25, my ldl is down about 40 and I have had no problems with it. I take 145 mg a day and feel much better then I did all the years that I was on zocor. BTW I also take the cinnamon capsules.
