Newbie here

I have been having problems with leg pains with statins. I was taking 20 mg of lovastatin, then upped to 40 mg. and Zetia was also added. Started to get bad leg pains. Told to stop lovastatin and only take the Zetia...still the pains, doctor told me to stop everything. Naturally my #'s went way up. Then the doctor puts me on Crestor, 5mg, only one pill every other day. After almost 2 weeks the pains are starting up again. What do you suggest?Will Red Yeast Rice also cause leg pains? Thanks.
