Suzyshop - LDL is figured by subtracting HDL and Trigs divided by 5 from totalcholesterol.
LDL=TC-HDL-(Trig/5).
Very few labs measure for LDL.
I don't think home test kits are nearly as accurate as hospital labs and I don't think you will see day to day fluctuations like blood sugars. That is why most testing is done every 3 or six months to see results.
