Thank you again for the replies, I will update my numbers when I get another blood test in the middle of July.

My plan now is continue to eat healthy avoiding sugar, bad carbs, bad fats, alcohol, and soda. Lifting weight 3 times a week and walking at least 3 times a week and finishing my first bottle of tricor. I want to get off of tricor after this bottle because I don't like the side effects and it looks like it is pretty hard on the liver(by what I've read). Hopefully I can control my ldl and trigs by diet and exercise alone. so that's the plan hopefully the next batch of lab results will be much better. I give an update when I have it.
I thought alcohol=trigs is that wrong? Is one better than another red wine vs beer? how does tricor and alcohol interact, aren't both "hard" on the liver? right now I mostly just drink water sometime skim milk.

regarding beer and wine . i think both can be healthy they are both natural ferments. the beer is more heavy with b vitamins. and good if u are woman trying to nurse lol..... wine has lots of anti-oxidants so its good too.. i wouldnt go with one or the other.. yep.. if i am doing a sporting event -- or drinking with friends.. beer is cool...... but for dinner with good food. i always compliment the meal... - no way i could just choose to be a beer drinker or a wine - i love both.. so... do what is appropriate for the occasion..

dont worry about the liver its a hearty organ no pun lol././ it can regenerate itself quite efficiently.. unless u really take something very toxic... but taking some nsaids and prescription meds are way harder than alcohol. just dont mix the two....... certainly not in excess... if u had wine with dinner.. there is no reason u really cant take meds....... if u had half dozen drinks or so i wouldnt mmix it with any meds for sure.
